
The holidays are coming. Time to take a short break from sadness, violence, and crazy politicians. Let’s do some music trivia.
Listen to a song a few times and you usually can make a pretty good guess as to what the title of the song is. It can be the first word of the song (think the Beatles Help.) Often it’s a line from the chorus. Bob Dylan chose that route with Like a Rolling Stone. Sometimes, surprise, it’s the last line of the song–The Cure’s Just like Heaven and Chicago’s Questions 67 and 68 are two great examples of that.
But sometimes…you listen and listen and have no idea what the name of the song is. The singer sings their song, but never sings the name of it. The title just isn’t in the lyrics.
