As September nears, it is time for me to once again reach out to you to ask for your support in the fight against prostate cancer, by asking for a donation to the SEABLUE Run and Walk.

Prostate cancer continues to be the single leading malignancy in males in the US, and the second leading cause of cancer death. Zero Prostate Cancer is a nationwide organization assisting men and their loved ones navigate diagnosis and therapy.

Although I have retired from my professional career as a prostate cancer pathologist, I still have a strong personal reason for joining the cause. My father, Harold Raff, died in 1993 at the age of 80 from advanced prostate cancer. This year in his honor, I am proud to have created the RAFF’S RIDERS team for the SEABLUE event.
